THINGS TO DO
Greetings class. Regardless of whether we are a student or an employee of a corporation, we expect a certain amount of privacy. However, there is a case where an employee was changing jobs and sent a very large file with his company's industrial secrets to the company where he had a new job. When he was discovered, he claimed that his privacy was being violated and that his e-mails were private. His old company claimed they were providing the computing services for the benefit of the company, not for their secrets to be shared. What do you think? Also, is it OK to play games on the company's computer during lunchtime? Read the article by Miriam Schulman at Santa Clara University, "Little Brother Is Watching You" (https://www.scu.edu/ethics/focus-areas/business-ethics/resources/littlebrother-is-watching-you/).
